From CIES:  “The Fulbright Specialists Program is the flagship international educational exchange program sponsored by the U.S. government. It promotes linkages between United States academics and professionals and their counterparts at universities around the world. The program is designed to support qualified U.S. faculty and professionals, in select disciplines, to engage in collaborative projects at higher education institutions in over 100 countries.”

Represented Texas Tech University at the TexIS Doctoral Student Consortium, College Station (Fall 1990), and the DSI Doctoral Student Consortium, San Diego (Fall 1990).

Recipient of the Dean’s Excellence in Teaching Award for 1989-90. The award carried a stipend of $250 and a letter of commendation from the Dean of the College of Business Administration, Texas Tech University.

Recipient of a competitive tuition scholarship for Fall 1986 by the graduate school of the Southern Illinois University at Carbondale.

Recipient of the President’s Certificate of Merit for excellence, Indian Institute of Technology, 1981.
